Having problems putting my dxf file into 2d design

I have been trying import my funglasses dxf file into 2d design, so that the glasses could be milled out for an example but only a few lines seem to appear in 2d design. I have revisited pro enginner and re created the dxf file but it will not work ahhhhhhhh

Some Photos of the CAM facilities

The milling machines are not used in the lower years, but I have seen them being used in the GCSE groups.

Example of the Fun Glasses work book we have developed

Fun Glasses goes Live

Myself and Paul Simms are running the fun glasses project at our placement school. We have developed a work book and the students seem to be enjoying the project. The School does not have a laser cutter so we are using 2d design and getting the students to model their ideas in card first. We will also be giving the students a template to work from so we can make sure that the glasses will fit together and they dont make glasses that are too large.

I am sure their will be some headaches when all the students start using 2d design to create their profiles. We are try to limit these by getting the students to break down their designs into simple shapes.

Hopefully we can get some photos up of the project in full swing.
